Chelmsford Labour Party responded to the local plan put forward by the Liberal Democrats, unchanged from the Conservative plan. Sadly the plan went through with very unhelpful responses, there was not the support for the environment that we were looking for, or the guarantees around social housing. This is a Conservative plan, rubber stamped and passed by the Lib Dems. The people of Chelmsford voted overwhelmingly for change, and what they got was more of the same.
