Springfield – Russell Kennedy (Labour & Co-Op)
This won’t be just another job to me, it’s about serving the community I live in, and I’ll be a voice for everyone. Russell Kennedy (Labour & Co-Op)
I’ve lived in Springfield for 25yrs, have served as a Parish Councillor, sent my children to local schools, and believe it’s about time we had a County Councillor to represent us, who lives here.
This won’t be just another job to me, it’s about serving the community I live in, and I’ll be a voice for everyone. Someone who understands the issues affecting you. Someone who will speak up for you, because it’s my local community too.
Whilst the Tories are very good at closing our libraries, theatres and swimming pools, they’re not so good at closing our potholes. For decades, they’ve been promising a railway station at Beaulieu Park, but time after time it goes off the rails. Promise after promise broken, whilst increasing our Council Tax year after year.
We need a Labour voice at County Hall. A local voice for all. Someone who’ll fight for more resources, to protect our green spaces, and switching our street lights back on to improve our safety. A County Councillor who won’t just accept business as usual.
