Stock – Jake Havard
The Conservative incompetence that has been rife since their election has seen local business suffer at unprecedented levels Jake Havard
My name is Jake Havard, I am 18 years old and can proudly say I have spent all of those 18 years in Stock. I spent the first 4 years of my life in the local village hall pre-school, and the next 7 in Rettendon Primary School. I’ve seen numerous failed council attempts to make Stock a place for the youth, and I am tired of it.
The Conservative incompetence that has been rife since their election has seen local business suffer at unprecedented levels, and I have made sure that I’ve been able to support places such as the Rettendon Bell and the Lodge whenever I could – because ultimately at the heart of Stock lives the people, and the communities they form. The failure of Stock’s Tory councillor, and wider Conservative government has hurt the people of Stock too much for change not to occur in May.
I promise that I will represent local businesses, local schools, village halls, and local services, and finally give Stock a chance to represent the views of young people, and work towards being the best community we can be.
