Chelmsford needs councillors to work in an effective manner, to work for the local people and to improve the local area. Paul Bishop
Paul Bishop

At a recent selection meeting, Paul Bishop was selected to fight the Marconi By-Election after the Lib Dems abandoned a seat in the City Council. Here’s what Paul has to say:

I live in Marconi and work locally. Having to watch my city fight to save its hospitals and libraries, unable to house its most vulnerable people, has  shown me the need to fight for change in every city. I want to be proactive, to help the local community.

Since living in Marconi, I have seen Tory and Liberal Democrat councillors preside over increases in crime, drug use and anti social behaviour. I will work with local agencies to tackle these issues and place them firmly at the top of the council agenda.

Chelmsford needs councillors to work in an effective manner, to work for the local people and to improve the local area. I will work hard to represent the people of this city and will push for policies to improve the lives of people here.
