Labour’s candidate for Chelmsford

Chelmsford is my home. I’m standing to be your MP because I think we’re currently being failed. Failed by 14 years of Conservative chaos and incompetence in Westminster, but also by our local Lib Dem council, which promises much but achieves little.

We need change. I’m putting myself forward to serve local people because I have the skills and dedication to work for you in parliament.

I’ve always been interested in politics and I’m proud to be a professional campaigner for new renewable energy, sustainable communities, and infrastructure. I know that I can put my knowledge, skills and experience to use as Chelmsford’s Labour MP, fighting for the security, services and opportunity that we deserve.

I’ve been motivated to stand as your MP because I know that so many people have lost faith in politics and politicians. This can’t go on – I want to play my part in restoring trust by showing that it’s possible to deliver on promises, and that both I and the Labour Party are serious about sticking to our pledges and changing Britain for the better. We can only do this if we have the privilege of serving you in government, and that’s why I’m asking for your vote.
