Chelmsford Labour Party The website for the Chelmsford Labour Party
Chelmsford Labour Party is thrilled to announce that Penny Richards and Oli Winters have been selected as your local Labour candidates for the upcoming by-elections on Thursday 1 May. Both of them are standing in the City Council ward of Moulsham and Central, while Penny is also standing in the County Council division of Chelmsford Central.
Penny was born and grew up in Chelmsford, having seen a great deal of change, even more so after having returned from living elsewhere due to study or work. She is motivated to be active in politics by a desire to help people in times of desperate need, and to save our crumbling public services.
Oli grew up in Bishop’s Stortford and lives just outside the district in Uttlesford. Oli has worked for a non-profit organisation in Chelmsford for over four years, advising and representing people in relation to employment and housing issues.
Both of them would advocate for funding to be directed towards addressing dangerous potholes, attempt to stamp out anti-social behaviour by engaging with local communities, and ensure that all residents have access to reasonable parking arrangements.
Please spread the word and encourage your neighbours to vote Labour on Thursday 1 May.
